131st Post

As the piano tinkers in the background.
Another thought springs to mind.

Why are humans saddened when they cannot help?
Do they not know that they are limited by their own capabilities?
And that the situation does not permit them to intervene?

But yet.
They do not realize that they are helping.
When they pray for the recovery of the injured.

We only remember the physical form of help.
But we never recall the many forms of small helps
That brightens up another person's day.

It could be as simple as helping out someone's homework.
But it is soon forgotten.

Or it could be as big as rescuing someone from a fire.
And it is remembered for a moderate period of time.

Or it could be as gigantic as fighting for one's country's independence.
And your name will go down forever in history.

Guess the sad thing is that humans only remember the big things.
But only a small handful.
Will remember all the small things.

And will appreciate you for it.

Which brings to mind another question.
Does the other party seriously appreciate your help or not?

Most will appreciate it.

But sadly.
Some will happily shove you aside.
Once your usefulness has expired.

Oh well.
I wonder.

Is that another reason why i hate life so much?
Because of all the bad eggs that have come to existence?
Guess i will never know the definitive reason behind my hatred for life.

And so as the tinkering of the piano fades.
Perhaps so will i.
Slowly and Elegantly.

As droplets of blood.
Mixed with tears.
