32nd Posting
Hi to all readers. Wow, how time flies ! in a blink of an eye, the month of June is gone. And enter the month of July. Ready for a brand new month? Well, alright, from the groans i hear, i guess not. For the month of July, i guess it's going to be a busy month for me, since my girlfriend is back, and school is more or less entering at full throttle. Anyway, i have been having a sore throat for the past few days. But i'm more or less alright now.
Went out for dinner at chomp chomp with my younger sister, my girlfriend, and my cousin. Ordered stingray, La La (a type of fried clam for those that do not know what it is), Oh Luak (Oysters fried with eggs), salad you tiao, and some beer and soft drinks. Went home after dinner with the rest. Then me, my cousin and my girlfriend went out to have Frog Leg Porridge until about nearly 1am. The place, i will double check (the result of not really paying attention to the name of the stall, but fortunately, it's within walking distance). Rather spicy though, and for $12, i find that it's worth the money. The frog legs were rather big in size. Yum yum, now don't you wish you were eating there? Was so tired that after chatting with my girlfriend until 2am, i slept like a baby.
Bringing my dog for his post surgery checkup today later on. As far as what i can see, his condition is improving, but not so much on his appetite. Well, guess me and my dad will have to wait and see what the doctor says. Have classes later on at night (my 3rd night of medical physiology in a row for the 3rd week). So hopefully can study a little bit and squeeze some nap time. Rather tired these past few days. Must be my body re-adjusting itself. Hopefully i don't fall asleep during lecture. Might be going cycling with my girlfriend this Wednesday. Oh not i'll just slack the day away at her place. Hey, busy people also need their time off too you know?
Nowadays, sometimes i wonder. Why do people often ignore the advice of others? Is it because the person does not believe in the advice of others? Or does he find it better to ignore the advice of others and to learn from self-experience? What do you think? What are the reasons behind it that causes one to ignore the advice of other? Fear? mistrust? but well, in the first place, there must be logical reasons behind the person wanting to advice the other in the first place. Well, all i can say that, To put my advice into your train of thoughts is a bonus to me, but if you still don't want to heed it, and end of the day you come back telling me that "oh you were right, i should have heeded your advice, now what shall i do?"
Well, on my part? EXPECT NO SYMPATHY & PITY !! Instead, plenty of sarcasm and bitter remarks shall fly. Yes, call me a cold hearted selfish bastard or whatever, but end of the day, when you decide to go think about it, Does it warrant even a microscopic bit of pity and sympathy from me or not ? I as a friend bother to take my time and waste my precious saliva and breath to even talk to you about it, and what repayment i get? you shun my advice, and when the shit hits the fan, you come back wailing to me telling me i was right all along. Now is that not a bit too late for regrets ?
But well, end of the day, you make the decision. If you choose to accept, it's nothing more than a plus bonus for me. But should you choose to reject, there is a 50% chance it will be at your own peril. Well, i am human too and sometimes i do give bad advice and before you start smiling, it's not like i want to purposely give you bad advice right? I'm pretty sure everyone is guilty of giving shit advice to others one time or another.
Oh well, time to end here for now. And with this, i ask you, Are you the type that will reject all forms of advice and advance warnings and learn from self experience? Or will you be open to GOOD and LOGICALLY SOUND advice and take the necessary steps from there?
