31st Post

Hi to all readers. Today is the last day of June. So how was June ? Had time to sit back and reflect on the month of June? Personally, June has been a bittersweet month for me. Made new friends on mIRC, yet lost quite a few. But well, that's life, people come, people go. June was a time of quiet celebrations as its my birthday month. And exams too !!! Ha Ha. I am so NOT looking forward to knowing my results. For i personally know how i will fare. If i pass, it will be some damn miracle. Guess some saint must watch over lazy people like me. June was also the month in which i spent most of the days drinking, sleeping at odd hours, not getting much studying done, watching television round the clock. Pretty counter-productive. Oh well, guess now that July is the next day, I must amend my schedules and lifestyle. Need to spend more times on the books, less time on the television and computer, and to sleep at regular hours.

Which is why i decided that the first step to combating counter-productivity is to quit mIRC. But ironically, after 14 years to just quit like that, is very hard. Yes, i admit, the itch is still there, but i have instilled all the discipline necessary to combat that itch to go back to mIRC. For those that have sincerely asked me to go back, i must politely decline. But i have left alternative avenues of contacting me. So do not think that just because i no longer go on mIRC, i am shutting you out. I'm not. I just feel that i am sick and tired of the on-going stuffs that is happening in there (refer to post #115 for details). Also, it's a bit taxing on my wallet in terms of transport and on my brains to have to re-sit for sub-papers. So therefore, i have decided to pass it the first time round once and for all. The topics as each term passes, gets more and more tougher and more detailed. I can't afford to fail anymore.

Yesterday was the day in which my girlfriend flew back from Australia. Went out for lunch with her and my younger sister. After lunch, all came over to slack for awhile. Then my girlfriend left for church. Looking forward to her visit tomorrow. So people, for the month of July, all activities are out. Do understand please. It's not that i totally abandon you all for my girlfriend right ? Also, it's not like i get to see my girlfriend every month, since she is studying in Australia. Well, once she is back in Australia, Activities will resume as normal.

Dog's condition is improving by the day. Have to bring him for checkup on Monday morning. Hope all goes well.

Well, that's all for today, Enjoy your Saturday and have a nice day. I am off to nap. My last day to be counter productive. Take Care.
