Hi readers, how was your Sunday ? my Sunday was as usual spent on the bed sleeping. Rare cloudy and windy weather . But had to force myself to wake up, because i had a dinner appointment to keep. And no, it was not with a girl. Rather it was with 2 close friends of mine, and yes they are both guys. And before you go "eeee, so gay", well, why should i be a sexist and only go out with girls ? Anyway, my intention was to recommend them to a seafood restaurant along Tanjong Katong. Had one hell of a over stuffed dinner for $13 per person. And the portions were all small only. Now that's what i call quality food at its lowest cost. After all, hey, who wouldn't want to eat good food at cheap prices? After the dinner, we went to PS, Carefourr , because i had some shopping to do. Roamed around first, to work off the food. Then i went to the liquor section to buy a bottle of JW (Red Label) @ $48 for my girlfriend, and a small $8 bottle of sake for myself. My friend also bought a small bottle of sake. And since they had never tried sake before, i brought them to Ichiban Boshi to let them try the sake. They enjoyed it, and after finishing 2 small jugs and one small bottle, all decided to go home. I went home with damn rosy cheeks.
As usual, once i reach home and hidden all the liquor, i take a peek at my mIRC and what do i see ? Quarrels and fights again. I keep wondering, What is the matter with people nowadays? Just because of a childish person together with that useless friend, friendships that were so hard to make, were instantly shattered, because of some small matter in the past. Can the friend please grow up a bit? How old already still want to play this kind of "let's go out and settle" kind of bull crap. As for the other half, i don't know what happened between you and your ex in the past. But what is the reason for wanting to carry on the war to smear your ex's reputation ? Are you that dumb to stoop to that level of immaturity? What do you gain ? Happiness? Satisfaction? Well, let me state my opinion, whether you like it or not. Those are not true happiness, nor are they true satisfaction, for those are only short term only. You are a fool if you fail to see how futile it is, trying to smear your ex's reputation and all.
I am also slightly irritated as to why people are getting the boot and the permanent ban for no reason.Is it because you as the op think you are some big shot and that you don't bother to hear what others have to say ? Or is it you cannot fight back verbally and thus, have to resort to removing their access and kick banning them? Why can't your friend settle this mess herself ? Are you thy slave? As these 2 saying goes, "What Goes Around, Comes Around" and "For every action, there are repercussions to bear" You want to fix the mess for her? Now you will have to bear the repercussions. and no, your weak minded friend will not protect your ass when it comes to the grilling, instead who knows? she might even back stab you in order to save herself. Think it's not true? why not ask around what others think of your friend? They will give you an honest, no-holds-barred opinion of her. Of course, some will definitely cover up and say only her good stuff. But an honest person will give u otherwise, whether you like it or not.
Well, all i can say is that if this carries on, that channel is doomed with a capital D. And with this final paragraph, all i can say is that, Ops, please remember that even though you have the power to kick ban, you are still not above the law. For without the chatters to chat ,hang around , invite new chatters, and the regulars to support the channel, where will your channel be? can you answer me that? To raise a channel to a high and popular status is dependent on the extreme hard work of the channel ops ,chatters and the regular channel supporters . But to kill it, takes a snap of the finger, and it's very easy. So channel ops and chatters, What shall it be? To have a lively and happy channel? or to have a dead channel, whereby all the chatters are going at each other's throats and jio-ing each other out for one-on-one? The ultimate choice is yours.
