We are all searching for it.

But how many are actually ready for it?

Is one willing to watch one's loved one age.
And eventually die.

As one exists through the limitless passage of time.
Is one willing to retain the memories of the past.

Especially if the memories contains.

More of pain and sorrow.
Than joy and happiness.
Something that one would rather forget.

Having to live and remember.
Crushed hopes of the past.
Shattered dreams of the past.

Since we are all destined to die one day.
Who are we to alter that destiny?

Having to live life for a limited period of time.
Is what makes life itself priceless.

So.
What is your wish?

To live a life of an immortal?
Or to live a life of a mortal?
