To love.

And to be loved in return.

To achieve that perfect relationship.
Is every couple's dream.

But yet.
How many are willing.

To sacrifice their own personal beliefs.
And personal time.

To withstand all the hurt and pain.
That follows with loving someone.

How many are willing to work things out.
To apologize after a bad quarrel.
To remove self pride.

To accept for who they really are.
And not for what they temporary are.

Time and time again.
We suffer painful wounds.
All for what reasons?

And so we fear to fall in love.

And turn the opportunity away.
When it comes knocking.

Only to regret it much later.
At a missed opportunity.

As the saying goes.
It takes two hands to clap.

So why not apply it to a relationship?

It's heartbreaking.
When the time to say goodbye comes.
For reasons unknown.

Guess i will never understand the thoughts of mortals.
For they work in ways so mysterious.
It's as mysterious as the origins of life itself.

Sigh.
Such beauty.
Yet we all fear it.

Love.

Sometimes.
Do we ponder.

Will we dare to love someone ever again?
With hopes to be loved back in return?
