38th Post

Hi to all the readers. How's the weekends? Going fine i hope. Mine was pretty the much usual. Saturday was spent at home getting a little bit of work done. Attended a former school mate's engagement party the previous night. The groom looks like harry potter. Ate a little bit at the party, because my appetite clock was out of sync, and that i only slept for an hour plus. Was contemplating on whether to still go or not. In the end, i decided to drag my tired ass out of bed and make my way to her place there at Bukit Timah area there. Alas, apparently there was some mis-communication with my friend. Told him that i will meet him at the Standard Chartered Bank bus stop there at 6pm. But as time dragged on, i guess we both made the mistake of waiting for each other to call. It was not until when the younger brother called to check my location, did i realize the screw-up. Oh well, i didn't want to make a big fuss out of it, because it's just a minor problem.

Left the place with them at about 9:15pm. Went to eat prata at some eating place behind the Bukit Timah Shopping center. Ordered a Garlic Prata and a Almond Milkshake. Alas, the food did not turned out as what i imagined and expected to be. The entire prata was coated with a very huge quantity of garlic, that even a raw garlic eater like me, can't finish the prata, because that's all i can taste, which is the garlic. And the drink ? I was better off drinking peanut milkshake. I mean, where is the almond favor ? all i can taste is the taste of peanuts. Took a bus home after the brief supper. But well, despite the bad food, i will go back there again to try other things.

Well, for tonight, i don't have much thing to say. Too many things to do, too little time to go into deep thinking. Except to wonder. Why do some people lie at the expense of others? Granted that it's human nature to protect one's own ass, but why is it so hard to admit the mistake done? Is it all because of fear of embarrassment? Or is it that one doesn't mind losing another friend, even if it's a close one? I do not know. Granted that everyone lies at least once in their lifetime. But what is the severity of the aftermath of the lie that was fabricated ? Is one willing to bear the long term consequences? Again, i know not the answer. Sometimes as i do the case studies in my school book, i like to sidetrack a bit and study the mind. What makes a person lie? Why does a person lie?

Oh well. Guess i am just wasting my time on useless thoughts and facts. But that's just me. Got to sidetrack a bit in order to keep my sanity intact. And with this final paragraph. I wish all the readers, have a nice week ahead.
