34th Posting
Another day to pass. How was the weekend? My weekend was great. Went out with my girlfriend to do a little bit of shopping. Well, it was more of her doing the shopping. I just tag along. Brought her to a Japanese Restaurant called Inagiku. Bill came up to be about $230+ (would have cost about $300+ if it's not for my girlfriend's discount card). But well, both of us enjoyed the good food there. I guess i overate, because i was burping non stop. Rested at home for a bit, while my girlfriend watched television. Went out with dinner with her at June Live Seafood. Went home at about 1030pm. Slept at 12+.
Also, another day to pass, another thought to be blogged. Read one of my friend's blog. Seems like he was contemplating suicide, but fortunately, he is more or less back to stable form already. It makes me wonder. Why do some people find the hard and bad side of life a bitter pill to swallow? Is it that hard to bounce back from a situation that shattered your once normal life? Yeah, some may find it difficult, if not, impossible to bounce back, but we all got to start somewhere and somehow, because end of the day, life still goes on.
But yet, some still resort to suicide. I think those that resort to suicide are selfish and coward people. They fail to think of the aftermath. What happens to others (e.g: their friends, families, girlfriend, boyfriend, etc). Not to mention whatever was bugging them, now gets shifted onto the living innocent parties (especially in the case of loan sharks). Is that fair? Well, not that the world is fair anyway. Granted that yes, sometimes we all dread life itself and wonder why are we still living.
But i am pretty sure we all have a purpose in life, it's just waiting to be discovered. We all must learn to tolerate the bad times in life. For it's the only time whereby we really grow and mature. People claim that it's serving time in the military turns boys to men, well, i rather say that it's facing the low points in life itself that really turns one from a boy into a man.
Personally speaking, i also sometimes dread life itself. Dreading the day where by i suddenly get whacked by the low points in life. But well, even though i do feel depressed when i get hit by the low points, i bounce back and life goes back to normal. Yeah, you ain't me and i ain't you. We all react differently when we get smacked by the low points in life, but the point i wish to drive across that no matter how bad life may treat you, you will need to learn how to bounce back with fierce determination, live life, if not for yourself, then for the ones you love, or vice versa. Learn to appreciate the good points of life, and learn with wisdom from the bad sides of life.
And with this final paragraph, What will you do if you are suddenly faced with the low point of your life? Think it out and bounce back, or just push the problem to others and cut short your life? I end here for now. Take care and have a nice day ahead (yes i know, it's going to be the usual Monday blues again, but hey, it's just for a short while. Bounce back and think positively).
A little something i would like to share with others:
-Positive thoughts and speeches of encouragements are the best antidote for majority of the situations-
